Hello! I hope you get to know a little more about me from this information....
Going way, way back....I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, then later moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta, where I met my husband.
I attended Concordia College in Edmonton for two years, before spending a year being a nanny in Paris, France. When I returned to Canada, I got married and then completed my Bachelor of Education Degree at the Faculte St. Jean of the University of Alberta. I taught in several French Immersion elementary, middle school and high school classrooms in Edmonton for two years before moving to Kelowna in 1994.
I have taught at several schools in School District 23, including Lakeview Elementary, Belgo Elementary, South Kelowna Elementary, Hudson Road Elementary and Glenrosa Elementary. I have had many different positions, including French Immersion classroom teacher, English classroom teacher, prep teacher for many subject areas and Teacher-Librarian.
I have been at Ellison Elementary School since September 2011 and I am so thankful to be at such an amazing school! I love teaching students about music and I hope that they enjoy it too.
I have three lovely daughters who keep me very busy and who also enjoy music by playing piano, guitar and singing (mostly in private).
